WOW!
It's been awhile but, just got back home last weekend from Scotland! It was our first time to fly and of course our first time overseas. Flying was not a problem and a good thing cuz we are planning to fly out west next summer. Our plan is to climb to the highest mountain in Colorado and New Mexico.
While in The UK, Scotland I climbed Mt Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. It is 4406 feet, Climbing in the highlands thing seem to be a lot taller then they really are. No trees, mostly just grass and very low scrub bush types of plants. Lot of sheep too, there where sheep almost all the way to the top of Ben Nevis. There would have been sheep on top if there would have been grass growing there. The weather for this climb was great too, considering what the weather in Scotland in rain a lot of the time? So, they say? I'll be putting photos from our trip on our web site this month and I'm going to try to put together a slide show onto CD for friends.
I'll put the link up next time, cuz got a new computer to play with and everything is on our other one. So, it will be a little while till I get things set up on this new one. Plus, a lot of new things to learn on this new computer. :)
